ABOUT MY WORK

View resume

My professional career has been in graphic design and/or production art with a focus on print products. Before that, university provided opportunities to study a range of arts like jewelry and metalwork, figure drawing, airbrush basics, stage lighting, set construction, and scene painting. I am also currently working to develop my illustration and paper engineering skills so I can serve agencies and freelance clients to my full potential.

Being a multidisciplinary visual artist with a graphic design background and crafting repertoire helps me pivot between mediums and tackle projects that don’t fit neatly into a single category, like building immersive experiences for client meetings, instruction videos for kit assembly, or fabricating a custom stencil for an intricate hand painted sign.

ABOUT ME

I read fantasy novels as a kid, did musical theater in high school, switched my university major from theater to commercial art, and sort of accidentally joined the International Brotherhood of Magicians for a couple years in my 20s. I lived up and down the US east coast until I landed in Tokyo, where I’ve spent several years.

In addition to graphic design and related art projects, I’ve been a professional actor (both voiceover and on camera) in Tokyo, I dabble in writing, study Japanese, and volunteer with an animal sanctuary. I enjoy fantasy novels, horror fiction podcasts, clever heroes, karaoke, learning about animal behavior, and hanging out with my cat.
